Takito was in a car accident at the end of 2023 and escaped. His fear of being caught was escalated due to his deafness. After a two-week long search for Takito in the New York woods, his foster was able to coax him to her. She decided she couldn't live without him and made him an official member of the family.
Tina was adopted by her foster family!
Tina’s foster helped save her and her sister from a south Texas shelter. While Winnie has moved on to another family, they felt a special connection with Tina and knew they couldn’t let her go. We love foster fails!
Maybale, now Souki, on finding her forever home is a big city girl who gets to enjoy hanging out in Central Park with her sister and parents.
Riggs was terrified and completely shut down when he came to us. Thankfully, we found two amazing sisters who were willing to foster him and give him time to bloom. It was a very slow process, but he eventually came around and has made himself part of their family! They knew they couldn’t let him go after the journey they all went on together.
Holly was adopted by her foster! We saved Holly from euthanasia right in time. She went to what was supposed to be a temporary foster home, but they decided they couldn’t live without her.
Now she’s a happy, spoiled girl who is getting all the love she deserves!
After almost exactly a year with us, sweet Cinnabon has finally been adopted!
And the best part is she went to a family member of her foster! She’s truly living her best life surrounded by so many people who have loved her along the way. We’re so happy for Cinnabon, her fosters, and her new family
We sent Fred off to his foster a few months ago with the plan to transport him out of state in April, but turns out, he fit right in! We’re so excited for Fred and all his new German shepherd siblings.
We saved Micah right before euthanasia from the Houston shelter. Once she got to Austin, her foster mom immediately fell in love and knew she couldn’t let her go. She’s an experienced foster, and had never connected with a foster like this before, which goes to show how special Micah is. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better outcome for a dog who was down to her final hours.
Caramel, now Fiona, has found her forever home! Her family got an adorable little puppy, and are now getting to watch her grow into a huge, healthy girl. She does great with the other dogs in the home and enjoys a nice couch cuddle session with the humans!
Happy tail for Buddy, formerly Mandrake! He is now a resident of Connecticut. Mandrake came to us with his mom and two siblings when he was just a few days old. He was just a tiny guy then, but now his dad says he’s 100 pounds! We’re so happy for Buddy and his new family.
Blue's family participated in our multiple group calls to make sure their home would be a perfect fit for a dog who was labeled reactive. They respected our slow process, which included decompression time and separation from other dogs. Now, he lives in Idaho and is fully integrated into his family. Blue has become best friends with other dogs and the grandchildren and is loved by everyone!
Mr. Howell’s new mom says he’s the BEST dog. He’s put on some weight and looks so amazing and happy in New Jersey! He’s definitely come a long way from the streets of south Texas!
Jerry, now Maui, has found his forever home. He’s growing into a big, beautiful boy and his mom says he’s always on the move. His family also got a DNA test and he’s large percentage Pyrenees! We’re not sure where he gets that shiny black coat though!
Sweet Pear was adopted by her foster and is now named Lilibet! Pear came to us from south Texas. We took her and another rescue took her puppies. She went to a foster for what was supposed to be a week or two, but she fell in love and decided she couldn’t let her go! Pear has been a great companion to her mom through knee surgery, solidifying their bond.
Who remembers little cutie Nacho? He was adopted by an amazing family a few months ago and is now named Sarge!
He has kids of his very own which is every little puppy’s dream. His ears are still deciding what to do though… currently trying to get the one up, one down trend going.
Our first official SST cat has found his forever home! Theodore was originally supposed to go out of state, but some health issues set him back and made the journey impossible for him. Thankfully, he found a family in Texas who understands his conditions and loves him just the way he is! We wish Theo many happy years and thank him for helping get our cat foster program started!
Panda was the first puppy from the Lola Litter to be adopted. He's loving life in his new home and growing into a big, beautiful boy.
Cashew, formerly Tank, has found his forever home! He now has his own kids to play with and love
Benny was a scared little guy when he was rescued from a San Antonio shelter right before his time was up. These days he goes by Shiloh and is living it up in Wisconsin! He loves the snow and is fitting in perfectly with his new family!
Roo, now Ruby Sue, is settling in comfortably with her new family. She's even going on side by side rides with her dad! Ruby Sue came to us semi-feral from an auction yard in Cuero. She's the perfect example of what love and patience can do for a shy dog.
Iris, now Magic, has been in her new home a few weeks now. She’s doing great with her new siblings and is growing so quickly!
Miracle, now Nacho, is living her best life! She immediately bonded with the little boy in the home and is becoming her mom’s running buddy.

Kenji was adopted by a little girl who he instantly bonded with. He’s having so much fun playing dress up and following her everywhere!
Ozzy, one of the puppies from Lola’s litter, moved all the way to Connecticut! He’s got an amazing family and is getting to experience all kinds of things like snow and sweaters and pet stores!
Remi was transported to Animal Care League in Illinois and found her forever home! We are so glad she was given the opportunity to find a family out of state.
Lily’s new family saw her the night we put her on Petfinder and immediately applied. Her new dad flew all the way down to Texas to pick her up and then drove her the 26 hours home to Connecticut.
When we were contacted by an out of state family wanting to adopt Kobe and Sweet Potato together, we were a little skeptical. They had never met each other, and sending them so far away and having it not work out was a scary prospect. When we introduced them, they hit off! They now spend their days cuddling and playing and being super adorable together.
Molly was transported to Snake River Animal Shelter in Idaho April and she’s already found a home!She has a dog brother she absolutely loves and is enjoying lounging in the sun.
Ava has been adopted by her fosters! When Ava was going to be moved to another home, her foster brother realized he couldn’t live without her and made it official. We’re so happy that she’s in a loving family and can’t wait to get updates!
Gypsy has found her family! She’s gone from a scared and hungry dog who wouldn’t let anyone catch her to a little boy’s best friend! She has many pampered days filled with love ahead of her.
Little Girl, now Paisley, was spotted on Petfinder and her new family couldn't resist getting a matching friend for their brindle boy. She seamlessly fit into their pack and is the perfect companion for their other young dog.
Houdini, now Pepper, has been adopted! Pepper’s foster family decided to adopt him almost immediately after picking him up. It’s hard to believe the terrified dog we posted from the San Antonio shelter is so happy and full of life now! He’s no longer in a scary concrete cell and is getting to go on road trips and stay in hotels!
From being listed as an aggressive dog in the state of Texas, to a happy life in Connecticut, Piggie has truly come a long way in the last few months. We feel so lucky to have been part of her journey.
Peach, now Nova, is living the good life - going swimming, getting pup cups, and hanging out on her very own balcony!
George is living his best life in Pennsylvania! His days consist of chewing on his bones and begging for food. He’s also become BFFs with his doggie brother and is gaining confidence every day by following him around.
Rufus and his weird little personality quickly won over his fosters and they decided to make it official! Skip ahead a few months and Teddy came along. He was never supposed to be a foster fail, but he and Rufus fell in love and the right adopters just weren’t coming along, so they took it as a sign and made him a member of the family too! Now these two get to cuddle all day long.
Pepe now goes by Goose and we were surprised to see he’s not so tiny anymore! He’s now a tall, handsome boy and recently started his freshman year of college! Good on Goose for chasing his dreams and getting an education
Jack was a sad, dead looking dog who was on the road in Gonzales, Texas, suffering and starving. We truly didn't know what kind of condition he was in when he was picked up. He’s come a long way with the help of his adopter. We’re so grateful he stepped up and saved his life!

Oreo has found a home in Nebraska! Her family saw her online and came all the way to Texas to meet her. She went from a sweet puppy set to be euthanized, to a cherished family member! We’re so happy for you, Oreo!
Lola, now Nola, is living her best, sassiest life in her new home. Her family fostered her through her heartworm treatment and made it official as soon as she got the all clear from the vet! They say she is such a blessing and is so loved.
After a very short stay with us, Hope was adopted! She’s living the RV life and getting to travel and go on all kinds of adventures! She loves her doggy sibling and sleeping in the comfy human bed.
Shasta Daisy/Monroe is living it up in New York City! She now goes by Lady and is learning how to be a big city girl. Something about these moms getting homes after raising their families really hits us hard

Arnie has been adopted! His new family has named him Bagel because they thought his little curly tail looked like a bagel! His dad says he’s getting cuddles and love all day and is living the spoiled life he deserves!
Our mini pony Buddy has been adopted! This gentle giant is just as goofy as ever and has his mom head over heels in love with him. He’s enjoying laying on the couch in all kinds of entertaining positions and having his own toys to destroy.
We’re not sure why, but finding Murphy a foster or forever home was a slow process. Thankfully, Camp Bow Wow stepped up and gave Murphy a place to land until an amazing couple and their amazing dog saw him and fell in love!
Dogs like Murphy remind us why we do what we do and prove that everyone deserves a chance, no matter how challenging it is.
Daffodil, one of Shasta's puppies, has found her forever home! She’s now named Athena. Her new parents have been teaching her all of her manners and watching her grow into a beautiful girl!

Nala, now Stella, is living in a real life fairytale in Canada! She’s traded the hot Texas streets for the beautiful Canadian mountains and some nice winter snow!

Zulle has found his forever home and is now named Sully! He’s really loving the only child life. He’s getting to do so many fun things and will even be making an international move soon! We love seeing our adoptees on all of their amazing adventures!

Ben kept getting overlooked at Victoria Animal Control despite being the sweetest boy. He was transported to Iowa where he has a new mom and lots of furry siblings.
Pickle was found in a dumpster and taken into Victoria Animal Control. We helped get him to Love-A-Bull and he now has a new family in Austin!
Gracie was rescued from San Diego Animal Control and quickly came down with Parvo. Luckily, she was a little fighter and her foster family decided they couldn't live without her!
Emma, now Bella, was saved from Victoria Animal Control and then went to a short-term boarding facility. Her family saw her on our page and had us send her up to them in Utah right away.
Snow fit so well into her foster home that they decided to keep her! She has kids to love her and a furry sibling to play with.
Loki was transported to Pennsylvania where he quickly found a family of his very own. He now has kids to look after and takes his duties very seriously, checking on each of them every night before bed.
Missy, formerly Rosita, is fitting in perfectly with her young family. She is learning manners and how to safely interact with her young human sister.
Logan's foster family fell in love as they helped him over his shyness. He’s the perfect example of what a little patience will do when you have a terrified dog. We wish him all the best as he continues to come out of his shell!
When Frannie's new mom transported her to a temporary boarding facility for us, she fell in love and went back to get her the next day. She’s now thriving in her new home with her fur siblings!
Snoopy was very shy and awkward when he came to us, but with the help of his foster brother, he really came out of his shell! His new home came with a brother/best friend and they are living their best lives together.
Rain’s foster mom couldn’t stand the idea of parting with her after getting to know her kind soul and seeing how well she fit into her pack. She now has land to run on and siblings to chase her!
